Spy Valley Gewurztraminer
[NZ-SVGT14]

After picking and pressing the individual parcels were tank fermented at warm temperatures. At the end of fermentation the wines were racked off the yeast lees and aged for four month prior to blending and bottling. Pale Straw in colour, lifted aromatics in the rose petal/Turkish delight spectrum. The spice element is of coriander/cinnamon. The fragrant components flow through giving way to pure tastes on the palate. The finish is rich and well rounded with fruit sweetness.

Vintage: 2014
Region: Marlborough
Variety: Gewurztraminer 100%
Alcohol: 13.5 %
Taste: Dry
Temperature: 8-12 °C
Food Combination: Juicy lychee-like taste matches well with Chinese cuisine. The semi-sweet wine pairs nicely with ethnic food such as curry or spicy Thai meal.
