This gorgeous full-bodied red is a blend of Montepulciano and Cabernet Sauvignon. It is quite dark and dense in appearance and possesses an elegant structure with a firm backbone of concentrated tannins. While it has spent two years in oak (both large barrels and smaller ones), it is not overly oaked, yet displays deep, concentrated fruitiness reminiscent of pomegranate underlined by delicate wood tones. Decanting strongly recommended.
