Description: Unmistakable color, ruby red, occasionally showing amaranthine sparkles. A delicate, yet intense, pleasant and round bouquet, with its typical sweet violet note. Its savory, full, slightly herbaceous taste is also characterized by refinement and sweetness. Marzemino was mentioned in Mozarts opera Don Giovanni. Just before being sent to Hell, Don Giovanni says, Versa il vino! Eccellente Marzemino! Which means something like, Pour the wine! Excellent Marzemino!
