Description: Ruby red aspect, tending to violet. The aromas of the Pinot Noir and Gamay are perfectly combined to give an intense and fruity bouquet. The taste of Chanteauvieux is supple, smooth and ample. The tannins are rounded and the final taste is soft and lasting, as well as fruity.

Production: The most popular red wine in French-speaking Switzerland is called Dole and is a blend of pinot noir and gamay.

Food Combination: Valaisan dishes with salted meat, red meat, barbecues with salad, pasta and pates, pizzas and roast fow, veal cutlet.
