Description: Deep ruby red with garnet red reflections. intense and complex with sour
cherry, ripe blackberry, and cassis with undertones of cinnamon, nutmeg,
and freshly ground pepper,hints of tobacco and leather, and notes
cocoa and coffee. To the mouth, it is powerful and full-bodied, with the
alcohol rounding out the harshness of the rich tannins. Finishes with a
long, toasted note. Will age well for more than ten years.
Production: By hand into crates, starting in the last days of September. The healthy
ripe grapes are crushed and fermented in small containers at uniform and
regulated temperature. Soaking on the skins for over a month. Macera-
tion in stainless steel tanks.
AGEING:Six months in new medium-toasted French oak barriques.
