Description: Bouquet: Plum and cherry with signature cranberry and anise notes from this block. Palate: Typical “F Block” mid palate sweetness forms a rich mouth-filling wine. Red fruit and spice with a dry refined finish.
Production: Grapes were hand harvested from our 10/5 clone vines from “F” block, and fermented in small open fermenters. Barrel aged for 16 months before bottling. Clay/silty loam over a subsoil of alluvial gravels. Various underlying clay pans.
Food Combination: Meat, red meat fish, camembert cheese, pasta, liver paste, prosciutto.
