Description: Opaque with bright red rim in color with classic Cabernet Sauvignon aroma profile, with rich cassis and dark fruit on the nose with a beautiful lead pencil line. This wine is true to its varietal grown in the Helderberg region of Stellenbosch.The complexity from the nose is well represented on the palate with the dark fruit aiding its rich creamy texture. This wine is very well integrated, with a great structure, fine firm tannins and a long, powerful finish with fantastic maturation potential.

Production: Vinification / Maturation : Fermentation took place in open top fermentors and was followed by a maceration period of 14 days after primary fermentation. The wine was matured in first fill French oak for 18 months.

Food Combination: Red meat, mature cheeses, walnuts, stews, game, lamb, foie gras, terrine,sukiyaki,eel kabayaki, Peking duck.
