Description: The parcel averages around 45hl/ha. Its high elevation gives this parcel a microclimate of relatively cool temperatures, ensuring good acidity. It is this, as much as the quality of the soil, that gives« Le Trezin » tension and a pronounced minerality. This is not a rich and opulent wine, but rather a nervy and elegant one.

Production: Wine making: Soil: A rocky clay-limestone scree on a subsoil of middle and upper Oxfordian (j5-6a): white marl and marly limestone. Altitude: 350-360 m with a south eastern exposure, located just above the hamlet of Blagny. The whole grapes are crushed and the must left to settle cold for 24 hours. The clear must is then fermented in barrels, of which 25% are new oak. The oak is chosen for its short heating, and neutral aromatic qualities to better conserve the characteristic mineral notes of this wine. The wine is matured on lees for 10-12 months, then bottled with no fining after a plate and frame filtration.

Food Combination: Poultry, veal, foie gras, lobster, crawfish, and grilled or fried sea-fish, goat cheeses, Reblochon, Brie de Meaux
